Thank you for enrolling in FIRE gallery’s studio/student membership. As a valued member of our community you should be made aware of all the perks available to you. There are also some responsibilities you should be made aware of.
House Keeping:
FIRE art gallery does not employ any custodial staff, so all upkeep is done by instructors, members, and students. This means you are responsible for tidying up after yourself. If you have any questions on how to clean or how you can help do not hesitate to ask!
Renewing Your Membership:
We take most forms of payment and can prorate months if necessary in the studio, however for your convenience there is also an auto renewing membership option on our website. Membership renews on the 1st of each month, please pay dues before the end of the first week to secure your shelf space.
Use of the kiln:
At FIRE gallery we have five kiln’s four are eclectic and the last is a soda wood gas kiln (the only operating one in Houston!). The soda kiln costs $35 a piece to fire, or you can sign up to man the kiln via our newsletter! The electric kiln typically do the low to mid fire (cone 05 to cone 6). Occasionally we fire to cone 10 for crystals.

Student Membership:
Student membership includes everything the studio membership does but in addition you will have class once a week. Each instructor has a different schedule so pairing will depend on your availability.
