Date Night Pottery Experience: Mud, Sparks & Studio Art
Ditch the standard dinner-and-a-movie for an unforgettable evening at Fire Gallery Pottery Studio!
Whether it’s a first date or a quality night out with a long-time partner, step into our studio and roll up your sleeves together. You’ll laugh, collaborate, and create hand-in-hand as you learn fundamental hand-building techniques to craft your own custom piece—like matching coffee mugs, intimate trinket dishes, or vibrant plant pots.
No pottery experience is required—just bring your favorite person and your creative spark.
What’s Included:
- Hands-On Crafting: Full instruction, clay, tools, and firing/glazing for your handmade creations.
- A Gallery Original to Remember the Night: In addition to the pieces you make, each couple/participant gets to select a small, original artwork from the Fire Gallery collection to take home that evening.
- A Relaxed Vibe: Good music, great energy, and a memorable, interactive night out.

Great date night experience for first time introduction to pottery throwing with the pottery wheel and clay. Learn to use the pottery wheel, center clay and make a bowl, cup or plate. $60 Per Person.
BYOB – Glasses provided. It is rumored that Patrick Swayze will be joining us too.
Date Night Classes are for ages 21 and up. Try your hand at the pottery wheel. Under instruction by a staff member, you can make a bowl, cup or plate. This is a great way to get together with a few friends and have a blast. BYOB – Must be willing to share.
Before you get here:
- Long hair should be put up or back
- No jewelry on fingers or wrists
- Long Fingernails are not a Potters’ Friend
- No long necklaces
- Wear clothes, including shoes, that can get dirty
Direction to the shop: “Park at the blue building, come into the gate. Welcome ”.
“Fire Gallery” is on the fence.
Cost includes clay, instruction, come back to paint/glazing and firing. Or pick a piece out of the gallery to take home tonight. Please call for Appointment is required.
Come back to glaze your work of art with in a week. OR, There is an additional $10 charge if you want us to glaze your bowl.
